Hello friends, how are you today?
I decided to make a post about ASEAN +3 Youth Environment Forum (AYEF 2016) at 8-10 April 2016 in Singapore. I hope it will gain some knowledge for you :)

What is the event that you join at 8th-10th April 2016?
The event/forum called ASEAN +3 Youth Environment Forum (AYEF 2016). It was the forum that have be held from 2010 and 2013 in Brunei Darussalam, and the first time ever held in Singapore. 10 countries of ASEAN (Indonesia, Malayasia, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Lao, Mynamar,Vietnam, Thailand) tgether with China, Korea, Japan (unfortunately Korea, and Japan cannot send their representative L). Every country sent 4 participant in AYEF+3 2016.
What is AYEF 2016?
It was a forum that held to enhance the knowledge of youth related to the Waste Minimization. Singapore as the country that have been concerning more about waste minimization, try to educate other ASEAN countries to take an action to implement Reduce, Reuse and Recycle principle.
What are you doing in AYEF 2016?
First we visited Tuas South Incineration Plans (TSIP), is one of the biggest incinerator in Singapore and ENVision Galery (is a multi-sensory journey, when the visitor can learn about Singapore’s environmental effort in five aspects : air, land, water, energy and public health). After that we went to the ministry of environment and water conservation to get and workshop about design thingking. In the evening we went to the orchard road for shopping and sightseeing.

Explained the new ideas to the Guest Honor : Mr Khoo Seow Poh, Deputy CEO of the National Environment Agency

Second day we went to the ministry of environment and water conservation and get the plenary session by keynote speakers :

1.       Ms. Amal Afifah as the president, environment Youth Envoy, from Brunei Darussalam
2.       Dr. Angela Lee, Head of Sustsainability, IKEA Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand
3.       Mr Masages Zulkifli, minister of Environment and Water Conservation (Guest of Honor)
4.       Mr Low Min Chye, Chairman of West Community Development Council Environment Function Comittee
After that we went to the Yuhua Village in Jurong are to do the experential trail/ amazing green hunt. This is an inspirational trail to promote desing thinking and share ideas on waste minimization and share ideas on waste minimisation initiative in the Singapore community (in Yuhua Villiga).

After that we went to Marina Bayfront for dinner and sightseeing
The last day (the saddest day for me huhuhu) we went to the Nanyang Exacutive Center to continue our worshop “design thingking” to find the exact solution related about waste minimization. Every two countries are grouped together to solve the problems wiht the solution and also made the prototype to demonstrate it. We presentated the ideas in front of the participant.  After that every countries made an one solution that can be implemented in their country also made prototype. After that we presented it in front of of National Environemnt Agency Head  in the welcome dinner. In welcome dinner, every county dress in their national dress and recieved the sertificate of AYEF 2016.

Is there any participant from AYEF+3 2016 besides th participant from ASEAN and China?
Yes, fortunately, there are many student s from secondary school in Singapore is joined the forum and also i got the chance to mingle with the. There also comittee from student collage and form National Environment Agency.
Is the event is free?
Yes, it is called fully funded, we got the airplane tickets and also allowance from this event
What are you fell toward AYEF 2016?
I am feel so happy to this event. Thie event is one of unforgettable moment in my life, all of the part of thie event is very happy for me. To have friends from another country, shared different cultures, for me is really-really on of great moment in my life.

Aku bagai tersadar. Bahwa aku sudah melewati beberapa masa yang sangat kritis dalam hidup gue. Kusebut itu sebagai pencarian jati diri. Hijrah. . Alhamdulillah, tidak perlu penyesalan apapun. . Akhir Tahun

Bagiku, akhir tahun itu menjadi penanda, bahwa usiaku didunia semakin sedikit. Usia yang semakin bertambah, namun sering tidak dibarengi dengan peningkatan keimanan kepada Allah S.W.T. Padahal, hidup terus berjalan, tanggung jawab terus bertambah, masalah hidup datang tanpa henti. Kadang, aku sering merasa kerdil dalam bumi ini, apalagi kalau mencoba membandingkan pencapaianku dengan orang lain. . Loh kok, malah membandingkan hidup dengan orang lain ? . Bagiku tak mengapa sih, kalau itu dalam hal positif dan membangkitkan semangat hidup, bukan justru malah bikin iri hati atau bahkan bilang kalau kita gabisa seperti dia.
